TWO BLONDES & A SHRIMP RESTURANT

If you ask the locals where to eat, they will tell you their secrets! Just about 3 miles from my hotel in Sanford Florida while I was attending a AAA conference I asked "Nick" the Desk jocking at the hotel where is a good place to eat?
This wonderful 18 century building has with stood time and time again and has recently opened it's doors to a new and up coming treasure where the owner is said to be the next "Paula Dean" Not only does the restaurant have its own rooster that hangs out on the patio, but has a resident ghost.
While i was munching on an appetizer and a glass of wine, the owner came over and asked a few questions because i was snapping pictures of her restaurant and as we chatted, she shared some amazing stories about her life. how she came to find this little treasure, how 911 changed her life forever with her girlfriend who was a flight attendant and with how she came to name this resturant the "Two Blondes and a Shrimp".
From the moment i walked into this restaurant I could feel the long history of this place and since i have the six sense about things, I asked the owner how she liked her resident ghost who hangs out in the restaurant, and she looked surprised and as she bent over and asked me how i knew that? I looked up at her and simply smiled and said, "all you have to do is look and listen to these old brick walls, and they will share the rich history.

Treasures in the Garden

This is last years Iris bulb. I really did not believe last years bulbs would return sincer we never really get cold winters in Florida

This year I ttried something new. We do not have a land to plant our own garden but wine crates and in between the Srping bulbs in the front yad, I have found an alternative to grocery store food. My all organic baby Greens!

I believe that if you invest in yourself you will live longer. So take the very best olive oil and balsamic vinger and blend with salt and pepper and some diced tomatoes and you will have one of the best organic salads.
