All my life I wanted to live in Europe and I got that chance when I joined the Military and my first assignment was to Italy. I got a life time opportunity to live in a small town called "Aviano" in the early 80's and then again the military sent me back overseas to an Island called "Sicily' and that's where I meet my Prince Charming and a fairy tail was born. Now 14 years later, together we come back to the magical land called "Italy" where dreams and fairy tails come true !

FALL FLOWERS

The first of the many fall flowers.

Garlic in The Garden

Fall must be in the Air!! I smell wild onions!! Yesterday as I returned home from my weekly chores I opened the car door and could smell the sweet sent of wild onions, but to my surprise it was my Magic Garlic. Several weeks ago I had made an Italian dish that called for some garlic and I had cut up too much and put the extra cloves of garlic in a zip lock plastic bag and popped the extra in the frig and forgot about them. In my amazement the little white cloves had sprouted green tips and routs with out any water. Thinking nothing about throwing them away, I decided that I would plant them in my flower bed. As I was planting my new fall flowers, from the new Home Depot store, I scouted my Magic Garlic dancing in the sun.

Will these little blades of green grass turn into big white bulbs of garlic?
