Our First Dinner in Venice

The resturant in the picture below is run by a women , who is like a "one arm bandit"! She is the owner, the waitress and the dishwasher. During our dinner we noticed that she had some help with a young gentlemen who helped out with some of the work. She had little dishes in the front window where you can pick out what you wanted for dinner. She had a dish of Jewish artichokes, cut and cleaned cooked to perfection, We had a great first dinner I asked for two glasses of Proseco wine and instead she brings the whole bottle out and then charged us for it. $25.00 dollars.

I really don't think I have scene Kary quite that tipsy in awhile. Since our hotel was just around the corner and there are no cars allowed in Venice, there was no fear of getting a ticket for driving while intoxicated!
